How it works

Review the official ISED ROC-A study guide and operating procedures.

2  REQUEST A TIME

Email your preferred format, dates, city and province.

3  WRITE THE EXAM

Show valid government photo ID and complete the exam under direct supervision.

4  ISED PROCESSES YOUR RESULT

Your examiner submits the result. ISED processes and issues valid certificates.

What you need

✓ Be in Canada — The examination must take place while you are physically in Canada.

✓ Valid government photo ID — Your ID must show your legal name and date of birth.

✓ Canadian mailing address — Provide a valid address for certificate processing.

✓ A prepared testing space — Video candidates need Microsoft Teams, a camera, stable connection and a quiet place to write.
